Welcome to another week with Blue Note Dispatch.
In the hope of keeping you in top form this festival season, let’s start with “Rest in Yourself” by Magasine — a perfect midday, pad-synth-induced filler — and continue with “Leaves” by Move D, who is playing at Garbicz in two weeks, so don’t miss his performance on the Juicy stage.
Kermesse is back with “Pinto,” a track that brings back memories from a few years ago — perfect for lone rangers roaming dusty deserts. After that ride, you may want to kick back to the warm and fuzzy sounds of “Tendency” by Jan Jelinek and then mix it up with a pinch of Amapiano straight from South Africa, delivered by China Charmeleon in “Birds Sing.”
Closing this week’s list is German house master Kolter (not available on streaming services) with his latest release “Little Green House.” “Running” is a soothing tune for happy feet.
Stay golden,
xoxo
