T246 130ish Electribe Plaits - 2026-08-10

Good evening everyone,

In today's edition of BND we're going to open with the new Four Tet 12". "T246 130ish Electribe Plaits" is quite a treat. At over eight minutes long, we're taken from the land of murky synthesisers to guitar riffs, and they all, surprisingly, work quite well together.

"Attic" is the newest creation of Harmon. Punchy, groovy minimal basslines carry us through, accompanied by some acidic vibes. And as always with Harmon, we get treated to some nice breakdowns and build-ups.

Legendary Polish diva Ewa Bem, together with the band Bemibem, is closing this edition. "Dlaczego nas tam nie ma" was originally released in 1974 with words written by Wojciech Młynarski, it's a wonderful ode to a better, easier life.
