Hey lovelies,
This week we have some beautiful music for you. Sam Smith opens the list with “The Lighthouse Keeper,” straight from the Royal Albert Hall — it’s something of a treat. I recommend listening to the whole album if you have the time; it’s a splendid musical journey.
Next up is a gem from Studio Barnhus — very pleasant Scandinavian vibes to keep your hopes up. As we all know, credit goes where credit is due: this track, “Conditions of Existence,” was played by Mimi Love at Fusion Festival this year and it’s just stunning — the perfect track for the times we live in.
Sam Smith appears again with “To Be Free” — strong Allen Stone vibes in this one, with a beautiful choir, guitar, and lots and lots of emotion.
“Tough” by Manqo is a very nice, fresh piece of music — you’ll hear some interesting synths and lyrics that make you wonder...
Closing this list, we have the “Toss & Turn” EP by Nsha — I’ve saved them two spots, as both tracks deserve a mention. (Go to Bandcamp to hear the extended versions — not just the short radio edits!) Magnificent summer tracks full of hope, warmth, love, and a safe space — that’s all we need today.
Stay safe and see you all at Garbicz!
