Why Won't You - 2025-09-15
Welcome, welcome, welcome! It’s only Tuesday, but somehow it feels like Friday — so much has been happening lately. It seems the back-to-school season has made an impact on all of us, whether we have kids or not!

Welcome, welcome, welcome! It’s only Tuesday, but somehow it feels like Friday — so much has been happening lately. It seems the back-to-school season has made an impact on all of us, whether we have kids or not!
This week, we’re taking a little stroll down memory lane, revisiting some truly timeless tracks. We’ll start fresh with “Why Won’t You” by Reiny, EZIA, and Habe — a light, breaky tune that perfectly suits these last lingering days of summer.
Next up is Pryda (the legendary alter ego of Eric Prydz) with his 2012 hit “Armed.” I keep coming back to this one — it’s energetic and fast, yet never exhausting, with a wonderfully mellow drum line that keeps it grounded.
Our Italian connection, CiOZ, is back again, blessing us with his signature fluffy synths in “DrumRum,” his latest release. There’s always something playful and quirky about his sound — it’s like stepping into a land of sonic mischief led by a curly-haired maestro.
And then there’s “Flores” by Emanuel Satie and Maga — one of my all-time favorites. I had it on repeat all of last year. Its calm, steady rhythm slowly builds and then blossoms into something euphoric. Every time I hear it, I get chills. To me, this track is pure hope distilled into sound.
I’ll leave you with that thought — may it carry you through the rest of the week. Oh, and a little side note: Spotify’s new lossless audio feature is rolling out worldwide, so check your app settings and see if you can turn it on!
As always, stay golden.
xoxo
